How to Handle Milk Allergy

People who have milk allergy might think it’s easy to avoid milk or milk product. As simply as avoid ice cream or pizza. It’s not that hard for milk allergy patient. But how about a children that need such as calcium and vitamin D?

Their bones are still growing and they need that supplement that lots of milk. So, it’s not that easy to avoid eating food and vitamin that has milk or milk product inside it. How can you fulfill their need then? It’s possible giving them that calcium and vitamin D, their milk allergy will comes out after that.

People that have milk allergy are like most allergy reaction which is usually happens within minutes to hours after eating food that has a milk protein. Milk allergy can affect three body systems such as the skin.

Your skin will be red, bumpy rashes, eczema, redness and swelling around the mouth after you ate food that contains milk or milk product. The second system is the grastointestinal tract. You will have a belly cramps, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting. The third system is the respiratory tract. You have a runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, and sneezing that will trigger the asthma with coughing and wheezing.

You might be ask, “What should I do with this milk allergy?” The answer is for you who have milk allergy have to completely avoid any kind of food that contain milk and milk products. Better be avoid than you have to be suffering after that, right?

Another advice is you need to read food labels carefully and you better avoid eating food that you’re not sure about. Maybe you have to try vegan food that free of milk and milk product because they are made without animal product, such as egg and milk. So, your milk allergy won’t bother you.
